Out of the images that have been purchased, we have found that these ones are our favourites.
Thats not to say there aren't any other great ones left on the site. We just may not of seen them and unable comment .
Hope you find these guidelines helpful.
1) High contrast images make the posters really stand out. for example, ALL Marvel, DC, PIXAR.
2) There are exceptions to the above. for example Good Will Hunting, and Shawshank work really well. but not Gladiator.
3) Stay away from images with lots of white in them, especially if putting in a cinema room with projector screen.
4) You can always contact us for advise, we want to help you find the correct fit
5) Always place the darkest images nearer the screen and work backwards to the brightest at the rear.
6) Finally, if placing in the cinema room with a projector screen, there is a trick to calibrate the light boxes and retain the blacks on the screen. this avoids too mush 'wash out'
a) plug all in to ensure working
b) unplug all except the one next to screen.
c) find an image on the screen with a lot of black colours in it. you will see they are washed out.
d) use remote provided to reduce brightness while watching screen. You should see blacks coming back.
e) unplug power cable and power up next lightbox.
f) Repeat this process until finished. then plug them all back in.
g) put remote to one side unless using it.
h) we advice a cheap efficient open is to use a smart plug from amazon. you can plug all lightboxes into one plug, or one per plug. doesnt matter as you can group them in app. This now allows you to schedule them on. Or manually toggle on/off, or even use voice to turn on and off. (see example video in customer section below)
